Additional Playoff Game Updates

Due to teams forfeiting, we had to make a few additional adjustments to the playoff schedule. Please be sure to review the schedule to find out when your team is playing. Please be sure to touch base with your coach and other players that have lost electricity due to the storm.

Playoff Schedule

Playoffs will be next Saturday, November 3 and Sunday, November 4.
Please be sure to review the playoff schedule ASAP. We wanted to get this published as soon as possible in case of outages. If you have any questions, please contact your coach.

LEAGUE DETAILS

Location:
Oakdale High School
5850 Eaglehead Drive
Ijamsville, MD 21754

Games:
Games will be played in the Main and Auxiliary gym at Oakdale High School on Sundays from September 16-October 28. Playoff games will be played on Saturday, November 3 & Sunday, November 4.

Registration & Fee: $75.00 per player + processing fee. Each player will be given a team t-shirt. Registration is now CLOSED

Registration Deadline: September 3, 2012. Note: We will close registration early, if we reach our maximum of 36 teams before the deadline.

All players are REQUIRED to register with a team/coach. Each coach must have a mininum of 10 players and maximum of 12 on his/her team. Players will not be allowed to participate in a game until he/she has formally registered online for Fall Ball.

Divisions:
The Frederick County Fall Ball Team League welcomes Boys and Girls that will be grades 5-9 this fall. Note: Children in grade 7 may choose to play in either league. However, once the child has registered with one team, they must remain on that team.

Boys - Junior Division (grade 5-7)
Boys - Senior Division (grade 7-9)
Girls - Junior Division (grade 5-7)
Girls - Senior Division (grade 7-9)

Game Times:
Games will be held on Sundays and the first game will be held at 1:00 and the last game will be played at 6:00 p.m. Games will run on the hour in between.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

1. Coach Question: How does my team register?
Each team member must go online and register as an individual before the dealine. During the online registration process, the player will enter his/her coaches name and contact information in the appropriate fields.

2. Coach Question: Can my team still participate in the Fall Ball Team League if I only have 9 players register? The team league registrar will place players without a team on our team if you do not have a full team by September 3. (minimum of 10 players and maximum of 12 players per team)

3. Coach Question: Can I coach in two different divisions? (example: Boys Jr and Boys Senior)
Yes, please be sure to tell us in advance so that we can make schedule adjustments.

4. Coach Question: Should I notify someone if I'm coaching a team this year? Since the league is very popular it would be to your advantage to email us at frederickcountyfallball@gmail.com
and let us know you are expecting your team to register. Please provide us with your name and cell phone number. That way we can let you know if someone forgot to register. REMINDER: Once we have 36 registered, we will close registration.

5. Player Question: Can I register online as an individual without a team? No, a player may not register online without a coach/team.

6. Player Question: What if I don't have a team to join? If you would like to join a team, please email us at Frederickcountyfallball@gmail.com Please include player name, contact information, current grade, and school name. We will place you on a waiting list and contact you if any coaches are in need of extra players. Placement is not guaranteed. REMEMBER: Do Not register online until you have a team/coach.
